Chao Phraya River Raw Water Pumping Station Expansion in Bangkok, Thailand
◎ Models Installed:LH Series - Submersible Large Volume Pumps
◎ Description:
Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, is a thriving international hub ranked alongside Zurich and San Francisco. Located near the Chao Phraya River, the city depends on the Samlae Raw Water Pumping Station, which draws water from the river, purifies it at treatment plants, and distributes it through district supply stations to meet the daily needs of residents. As this global city grows, so does the pressure on its water infrastructure. To meet rising demand, the local water authority launched an expansion of the raw water pumping station. With the constant river inflow at the construction site, the project team needed a submersible pump that has a large discharging capacity and is easy to install. The team installed the HCP PUMP LH Series Large Volume Pump LH-88, capable of pumping 210 m³/h from a 5.5-meter head, ensuring smooth progress during the expansion of the raw water pumping station.
